Forest Green have released six players following their best season, finishing eighth in the Blue Square Premier.

Striker Danny Carey-Bertram, winger Lee Dodgson and defenders Anthony Tonkin, Chris Giles and Mark Preece will be let go along with youngster Lorcan Sheehan.

Top scorer Stuart Fleetwood, who netted 34 goals, has been offered terms but Rovers expect him to leave when his contract ends this summer.

Twelve of last season's squad are currently considering new deals.
