Forest Green Rovers boss Gary Owers has added two more players to his squad ahead of the new Conference season. Hot on the heels of keeper Steve Williams' loan move from Wycombe, Owers has signed 21-year-old defender Alex Lawless on a non-contract basis.
The former Fulham man spent last season at Torquay, making 16 appearances.
Scottish striker Allan Russell, 25, who ended last season at Mansfield after moving from Macclesfield in 2005, has also signed a contract with Rovers.
