| Forest Green Rovers have signed Wycombe goalkeeper Steve Williams on a season-long loan just a day after he penned a new deal with Wanderers. The 23-year-old has opted for a move to the Conference side for a better chance of first-team football. Williams was likely to be third choice at Adams Park with Frank Talia and new signing Jamie Young poised to vie for the number one shirt at Wycombe. Boss Paul Lambert has the option of recalling Williams in January.
