Moutinho signed one-year extension with Falkirk in 2007

Out-of-contract striker Pedro Moutinho has left Falkirk in favour of a return to his homeland with CS Maritimo.

It is Moutinho's second spell with the Madeira club, having played in their B side in between 1999 and 2001.

The Portuguese scored 18 goals for the Bairns since joining four seasons ago, including one in his final appearance against Kilmarnock.

In February, the 28-year-old saw a �200,000 deal to move to Turkish side Kayserispor collapse.

This season Moutinho enjoyed his best campaign in Scotland, scoring eight goals.
