Moutinho has scored seven goals this season

Player agent Phil McTaggart told BBC Sport: "They made an offer after a deal for another player fell through.

"But a fee was agreed too late to be completed before the Turkish transfer window closed on Tuesday.

"They are thinking of a pre-contract agreement, but there are other clubs that come into the equation now."

McTaggart said that Falkirk could yet persuade the 28-year-old Portuguese player to remain with the Scottish Premier League club after his present contract ends in the summer.
