Tisdale admitted that his side was second best at Meadow Lane

Exeter manager Paul Tisdale says he is disappointed with the way his side played in their 2-1 defeat at Notts County on Saturday.

"I'm disappointed that we've lost and I'm disappointed that we've not played better," Tisdale told BBC Radio Devon.

And he recognised that County were the better side at Meadow Lane as City dropped to ninth in League Two.

"It's not just about what you do but it's about what the opposition do, and they played well," he added.
