Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale feels his side were "second best on the big moments" in their 1-1 draw with Rotherham United on Tuesday night.
Ben Watson missed a spot-kick with City 1-0 ahead and then conceded one with just over 20 minutes to go.
"We have to capitalise and not come out second best on the big moments," he told BBC Radio Devon.
"Today you couldn't get any bigger moments than a penalty for and a penalty against."
"We came out on the worst side of both of them," he added.
And Tisdale felt that his side only have themselves to blame for not coming away with the win.
"We created more chances than the opposition, proper gilt-edged chances, and we didn't take them."
