Plymouth Argyle have signed Manchester United defender David Gray on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old is captain of United's reserves and has also been capped by Scotland at under-21 level.
Gray, who has spent time on loan at Crewe, will be eligible for Argyle's FA Cup third round tie with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
Meanwhile, winger Nicolas Marin had his loan deal terminated by mutual consent and returns to French side Lorient.
The 28-year-old has struggled to break into the side since arriving at Home Park from Lorient on 1 September.
He made just one start for Argyle, away to Sheffield United, on 1 November and five substitute appearances as he failed to adapt to the English game.
Although expected to return to his native France, press speculation has already linked him with Corsican side Bastia, who play in the French League.
