Exeter City boss Paul Tisdale says that defender George Friend's move to Wolverhampton Wanderers highlights the talent in the Grecians' squad.
Friend moved to Molineux on transfer deadline day in a deal that is understood to be worth up to 500,000.
Tisdale told BBC Radio Devon: "It highlights the talents of these players, it gives them an opportunity to play extremely well.
"We've got other who I'm sure will be attracting the same kind of interest."
And Tisdale said selling players for large sums, such as Friend, makes good sense for the club.
"If we're getting proper money like what we got from Wolves for George, then I think the business is working well," he added.
