Exeter City boss Paul Tisdale believes on-loan Grays striker Ben Watson could prove to be an important signing.

The 22-year-old was signed as cover after the sale of Jamie Mackie and last month's injury to Adam Stansfield left City with just two fit forwards.

He told BBC Radio Devon: "He brings something different. He's a different type of player than we currently have.

"I think he will be important for us, he's a talented young player who will bed himself into the squad well."
