Exeter City are set to sign Grays Athletic striker Ben Watson on loan until the end of the season.

Grecians manager Paul Tisdale has been searching for an extra forward since Adam Stansfield was sidelined with an ankle injury against Altrincham.

Watson, 22, has played for the England National Game XI and has scored five goals for Grays this season.

City are down to just two fit recognised strikers, Richard Logan and Steve Basham.
