Ebbsfleet United have extended Yado Mambo's work experience deal from Charlton until 2 January.
The central defender, who turns 20 next week, has already played eight times for Fleet in their Blue Square Bet Premier campaign.
Boss Liam Daish said: "Yado's come in and has been a good acquisition for us.
"He's a smashing kid with a great attitude, I hope it works out for both clubs and we help Yado as much as he helps us."
Daish singled out Mambo for special praise in the 2-0 win away to AFC Telford on Saturday, a result that lifted Ebbsfleet out of the relegation zone.
He said: "He was excellent. He was strong, mobile, quick, won his headers and did the simple things well."
Ebbsfleet is the fifth non-league club Mambo has played for. He has also had spells at Welling United, Dover Athletic, Eastbourne Borough and Staines Town.
He has featured twice for Charlton in the Carling Cup this season, and the League One side have not let him appear for Ebbsfleet in the FA Cup.
