Ebbsfleet United have signed Charlton Athletic defender Yado Mambo on a month-long loan deal.
The 19-year-old comes into a Fleet squad encountering a defensive crisis following injuries to Paul Lorraine and Clint Easton.
Mambo has previous non-league experience at Dover Athletic and Welling United.
His move follows confirmation that Lorraine's wrist injury is less serious than first feared.
Manager Liam Daish told BBC Radio Kent: "We've had some good news as they like the look of the X-ray.
"Hopefully he'll be back in the fold and ready to play in some sort of game in three or four weeks time."
