Eastbourne Borough manager Garry Wilson says his side can still escape Blue Square Bet Premier relegation.
The 2-2 draw with Histon on Saturday ended a run of 11 straight league defeats for the Sports.
He told BBC Sussex: "It can get to players and they can start losing a bit of self-belief but hopefully that's put some back into them.
"If we can build our confidence up to a level when we go into games knowing we can get three points, you never know."
Borough now lie eight points off safety, with 15 games left.

"We've still got a lot of home games left against teams in the lower half of the table," Wilson added.
"We've got to build some sort of platform."
The Sports return to action on Tuesday, when they face Rushden & Diamonds.
