Bolochoweckyj was released by Berwick

Michael Bolochoweckyj has signed for East Stirlingshire after being released by Berwick Rangers.

The 24-year-old defender, who played nine times for Shire on loan from Berwick in the season just past, had been at Shielfield Park for a season.

He had previously been with Ross County and Alloa Athletic.

Shire manager Jim McInally also expects to secure the services of David Nicholls, the veteran midfielder who joined on a short-term deal in March.
