Veteran defender Darren Dods and midfielders Morgaro Gomis and Prince Buaben are the latest Dundee United players to sign contract extensions.
The trio have committed themselves to the United until May 2011.
Dods' contract was due to expire in the summer, while Gomis and Buaben were already under contract until 2010.
Lee Wilkie, Sean Dillon, Garry Kenneth, David Goodwillie, David Robertson, Kevin Smith and Jon Daly all recently signed new deals at Tannadice.
United manager Craig Levein told the Scottish Premier League club's website: "While the contracts for Morgaro and Prince were not due to expire until May 2010, they have both made an immediate - and earlier than expected - impact as first-team players and I am confident that they will both develop even further.
"It was important therefore to not only reward them, but to secure them for Dundee United for a longer period.
"This is all part of our strategy for the future of the club."
Gomis had been Levein's first signing for United in January 2007, returning to former club Cowdenbeath for the 23-year-old former Montpellier and Chelsea youth player.
Buaben, a former Ajax youth player, quickly broke into the United first team after arriving at Tannadice in July 2007 and has been called up to the Ghana squad, although he has not been a regular starter for United this season.
Dods, who joined United from Inverness Caledonian Thistle in June 2007, is now 33, but Levein was keen to extend the stay of a player United say had attracted interest from other clubs.
My admiration for Darren Dods as a player and model professional is no secret

"My admiration for Darren Dods as a player and model professional is no secret and, despite his age, I had no hesitation in offering him a further two year contract to ensure his services were retained for the club," added Levein.
"He is extremely fit, looks after himself well and will continue to play an important role at Dundee United over the next two years."
