Lauchlan spent two seasons at Palmerston Park with Queens
Former Queen of the South defender Jim Lauchlan has signed a one-year contract with Dundee.
And the 31-year-old lined up alongside fellow new signing Colin Cameron in Sunday's 1-0 pre-season friendly defeat by Wolves at Dens Park.
Veteran midfielder Cameron's former club won thanks to a last-minute effort from Sylvan Ebanks-Blake.
Lauchlan spent two seasons in Dumfries with Dundee's First Division rivals after leaving Ross County.
He has Scottish Premier League experience with Kilmarnock and Dundee United.
Meanwhile, Queens have given trials to striker Gary Arbuckle, his former Clyde team-mate and defender Michael McGowan and former Kilmarnock goalkeeper Cameron Bell.
All three played in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Burnley.
