Doncaster Rovers striker James Hayter has verbally agreed to sign a new contract at the club.
The 31-year-old former Bournemouth forward joined Rovers in 2007 for a then club record fee of £200,000.
Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll said: "James was never going to be a problem. We verbally agreed everything a couple of weeks ago.
"We just had a couple of things to iron out so I expect him to sign some time next week."
Mustapha Dumbuya and Robbie Clark have also extended their stays at the club.
Dumbuya has activated a loan option at the end of his contract whilst youngster Clark has signed a six-month non-contract agreement.
