Hayter had come up through the youth ranks at Bournemouth |
Doncaster Rovers have completed the signing of Bournemouth striker James Hayter, reports BBC Radio Sheffield. Hayter, 28, who scored 12 goals last season, moves on for a Rovers record fee - reported to be 200,000.
The Cherries accepted a bid from Rovers earlier this month but were waiting for the player to return from holiday before the deal could be completed.
Doncaster boss Sean O'Driscoll knowns the player well after managing Hayter when he was in charge of Bournemouth.
