Doncaster Rovers have rejected a £2m bid from Nottingham Forest for defender Matt Mills.
The 22-year-old centre-half has been the subject of interest from a number of clubs, including Birmingham City and Newcastle United.
Rovers chairman John Ryan told BBC Radio Sheffield Forest's bid was "of the order" of £2m.
"They've made an enquiry, but we are not interested in selling Matt Mills," said Ryan.
