Derby County have extended striker Luke Moore's loan spell from West Bromwich Albion until the end of December.

Moore, 24, first moved to Pride Park on a one-month loan deal in September and the Rams have the option to keep him at the club until the end of the season.

Rams manager Nigel Clough said: "Luke has been a breath of fresh air for us. He has worked exceptionally hard and it is fantastic he is staying."

Moore has made four starts and four substitute appearances, scoring twice.

The former Aston Villa frontman scored what proved to be the winner in the 3-2 success against Scunthorpe on Saturday.

But he has only played one game for the Baggies this season.

That appearance came in the Carling Cup win against Leyton Orient in August and he was left out of their 25-man Premier League squad.

Clough added: "We're confident he will continue to do a job for the team."
