Derby County appear to be cooling their interest in signing Ilkeston Town striker Amari Morgan-Smith.
Morgan-Smith, 21, spent time with the Rams during pre-season and boss Nigel Clough said he was keen on the forward.
But the Rams have not followed up their interest and Robins manager Kevin Wilson has said other Football League clubs are also keen on signing him.
Wilson told BBC Radio Derby: "There have been a lot of clubs looking at him and we will not stand in his way."
