Derby County duo Gary Teale and Jay McEveley have been told they will not be offered new deals when their current contracts expire at the end of June.
Midfielder Teale, 31, and defender McEveley, 24, joined in January 2007 and both have made more than 100 appearances for the club.
Manager Nigel Clough said: "Both have served the club well but we felt we needed a break from the past.
"They are model professionals and I am sure they will get fixed up elsewhere."
Teale was a regular for the Rams until January, starting 21 league games.
But he fell out of favour in the second half of the season and has barely featured since February.
McEveley's departure is more surprising as he has appeared in 33 of the club's Championship fixtures this term.
Teale moved to Pride Park from Wigan while McEveley signed from Blackburn Rovers.
