Derby County defender Russell Anderson hopes his move to Pride Park will get his career back on track.
The 31-year-old, who has just returned after 14 months out with a knee injury, has joined until the end of the season after cancelling his Sunderland deal.
He told BBC Radio Derby: "Things have stalled over the last couple of years with injuries which has been difficult.
"Hopefully I'm injury-free and fit now so if I can get a chance to play it will be great."
