Burton Albion have eased their defensive problems by signing Barnsley centre-half O'Neil Thompson on a month-long loan, reports BBC Radio Derby.
The Jamacia international will provide cover for the suspended Guy Branston and injured trio Aaron Webster, Richard Jackson and Darren Stride.
Brewers boss Paul Peschisolido said: "He's got a good range of passing and he's a very solid defender."
Thompson, 26, joined last August but has only started one league game.
