Derby County goalkeeper Saul Deeney is likely to be missing until 2010 because of an ankle injury.
The 26-year-old hurt his ankle when he slipped while outside the team's hotel for a fire alarm the day before Friday's defeat against Swansea.
Rams boss Nigel Clough told the club's website: "He's going to be out for four to six weeks.
"He was in pain straight away and has either twisted it or sprained it. He will have an X-ray in Derby this week."
