Derby County manager Nigel Clough has signed Tottenham midfielder Jake Livermore on a month-long loan deal.
The club hope to secure him on a longer contract as the 19-year-old will not be able to make his debut until the home game with Plymouth on 22 August.
Livermore is banned after being sent off playing for Spurs reserves at the end of last season.
Livermore, who scored in the pre-season friendly with Barcelona, has signed a deal to keep him at Spurs until 2011.
