Derby have announced their pre-season plans for the summer, with a host of local teams lined up for the Rams.
Nigel Clough's men will take on Burton, Chesterfield and Notts County and tour the west country, before a possible game against a Premier League outfit.
"We want the best preparation for the players and also to give the supporters a chance to watch us," said Clough.
"We are trying to get Premier League opposition to come on 1 August, but if not we'll go for a European side."
The tour of the west country will be from 21-25 July, with Derby facing Yeovil, Torquay and Exeter while they are there.
Clough added: "Again, if anyone wants to come and see us, they can.
"We are staying local for the most part because we have a beautiful training facility at Moor Farm and we should use it.
"We won't be here all the time, but the majority of the hard slog will be done from here."
