Derby County's youngsters are out of the FA Youth Cup with a 3-1 third round defeat after extra-time at Southampton on Wednesday night.
Daryl McLean opened the scoring for the home side on 68 minutes but Henrik Ojamaa got the equaliser for the Rams' academy side in stoppage time.
Chances were slim in extra-time, with both sides clearly tiring.
But the Saints broke the deadlock with Ryan Tafazolli and Ryan Doble later sealed his side's victory.
