Darlington boss Mark Cooper open to further transfers
Cooper's side have won three of their opening 10 league games
Darlington boss Mark Cooper says he is still looking to make additions to his squad after missing out on Leon Knight.
The Quakers' move for the striker collapsed this week with the 28-year-old claiming Rushden & Diamonds were holding his registration.
But Cooper still wants to add cover to his side for the injured Tommy Wright and Michael Brough.
He told BBC Tees: "I won't waste the club's money, if we do bring one in it'll be one that will improve us."
Skipper Ian Miller is also out injured, leaving Cooper without a number of key players.
"It's a big chunk of our budget sat in the stands at the moment," said the Darlington boss.
"When that happens to any team it takes the stuffing out of you, but while they've been away we've not been beaten too many times, so that's a positive."
