Oakes has played just 18 times for Darlington in an injury-hit spell
Darlington goalkeeper Andy Oakes faces yet another spell on the sidelines after tearing ankle ligaments in Saturday's 1-0 defeat by Barnet.
Oakes, 32, has suffered a torrid time with injuries since joining the club on his release from Swansea in May 2007 and this setback has ended his season.
He has made just 11 appearances for the club this season, and 18 in total.
The injury will further hamper manager Dave Penney's squad with the end of the loan window for Football League clubs.
Former Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper Przemyslaw Kazimierczak, 21, will deputise, with 20-year-old reserve-team player Nick Liversedge as back-up.
