Ravenhill hurt his knee in a challenge with a Huddersfield player
Darlington boss Dave Penney is hopeful Ricky Ravenhill is not seriously injured after being carried off in Tuesday's 1-0 win over Huddersfield.
The 27-year-old midfielder took a knock on his knee but Penney believes the former Doncaster man has avoided long-term damage in the incident.
"The lad's followed through on him and he's hurt his knee," he told BBC Tees.
"He's walking about back there and it's certainly not a broken leg and I think he's jarred his knee."
The Quakers saw off the Terriers after a third goal in four matches from defender Alan White booked their place in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy third round.
And with league matches with promotion rivals Luton and Wycombe to come over the next fortnight, Penney is keen to build momentum going into this difficult period.
"We've got two tough trips and we've been a bit hit and miss away from home," he said.
"We've been open at Aldershot and Bournemouth and we need to get back to being resolute, tough and strong.
"I'm delighted with the clean sheet and we need to carry that on this Saturday at Luton."
