Dagenham & Redbridge captain Anwar Uddin says his side need to cut out the type of errors which led to their 2-1 defeat to Brentford on Saturday.
Uddin told BBC Essex: "The difference was a couple of uncharacteristic mistakes. When you play against good teams they will punish you.
"At this level, if you want to be in and around the top of the table, you have to be spot-on.
"For a second we lacked that bit of awareness and we got punished."
Uddin added: "My team have been brilliant for me this season and it's a rarity, so let's hope that we can put that behind us and don't let it happen again."
