Crystal Palace have signed Southend United midfielder Stuart O'Keefe on a free transfer.
The 19-year-old, who arrives on a one-year deal, came through the Shrimpers academy and has made 12 appearances for the League Two side.
Southend will be added a sell-on clause which means they will receive money if O'Keefe is sold within three years.
Palace boss George Burley told the club website: "Stuart is a young player with big potential."
He added: "He worked with Dougie Freedman (assistant) when he was at Southend and looks to be a bright prospect."
