Striker Stern John has turned down a new contract at Southampton and signed for Crystal Palace on a one-year deal.
The Trinidad and Tobago international, 32, was out of contract at the League One club but had been offered a new two-year deal.
"We were informed the player would decline this offer and pursue other options in the Championship," read a statement on the Saints website.
John spent part of last season on loan at Bristol City.
