Palace chief Jordan hit by FA rap
Simon Jordan
Jordan is a weekly columnist in the Observer
Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association.

The charge relates to comments made by Jordan in an article in the Observer newspaper on 18 September.

Jordan was extremely critical of referee Brian Curson in Palace's 3-2 defeat at Reading, and claimed refereeing standards were in decline.

Jordan, who has a reputation for speaking his mind, has until 20 October to respond to the charge.
