Fatigued Miller waits for results

Crewe Alexandra striker Shaun Miller has undergone blood tests after complaining of fatigue following games.

Miller, 22, missed the FA Cup first round defeat at York on Saturday.

"Shaun's been feeling under the weather for a little while now," caretaker boss Dario Gradi told BBC Radio Stoke. "We await the results of his blood tests.

"He's been roaring about in matches, then he's been drained for the rest of the week, and then he's recovered in time to play on Saturday."

Miller has made 13 appearances for Crewe this season, scoring twice, and been a regular in the side since Gradi replaced Gudjon Thordarson as manager on 2 October.

Midfielder Simon Walton (knee) is struggling to be fit for the home game with Morecambe on Saturday, although Steven Schumacher should play some part in the match.
