Crewe Alexandra have re-signed young Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper David Button on loan until January.

Button originally joined the League Two side on a six-month loan in July and started the first three games of the season for the Alex.

The 20-year-old was recalled by Spurs manager Harry Redknapp on 20 August, following injuries to Heurelho Gomes and Carlo Cudicini.

Button made his Spurs debut in the 5-1 defeat of Doncaster in the Carling Cup.

Former Birmingham goalkeeper Adam Legzdins has been between the sticks for Crewe in the games against Hereford and Bournemouth.

The England Under-20 international will stay at the Alexandra Stadium until 3 January.

He previously had loan spells with Grays, Rochdale, Bournemouth, Luton & Dagenham and Redbridge.
