League Two side Crewe Alexandra have signed Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper David Button on a six-month loan deal.
The 20-year-old England Under-20 international will stay at the Alexandra Stadium until 3 January.
Button has had loan spells with Grays, Rochdale, Bournemouth, Luton and Dagenham and Redbridge.
He told BBC Radio Stoke: "I have had short loan spells before but this is longer and it will benefit me as I take the next step forward in my career."
Button could be given his first run-out for Crewe in the pre-season game away at Hyde on Thursday night as he looks to mount his challenge to for the number one shirt.
Crewe are also checking on Faroe Island international goalkeeper Tordur Thomsen, who is training with the club.
The Alex have released previous trialists Adam Nowland and Craig Rocastle after they made 45-minute appearances in a pre-season friendly game against Nantwich Town.
