Button has represented England at under-20 level

Dagenham and Redbridge have signed goalkeeper David Button on an emergency loan deal from Tottenham.

The Daggers have been hit by news that first-choice keeper Tony Roberts could miss the rest of the season with a rib injury picked up against Gillingham.

The League Two club have no other contracted goalkeepers on their books and asked for special dispensation to bring in a replacement.

Button, 20, will make his debut against Bradford City on Saturday.

He has also had loan spells with Grays, Bournemouth and Luton this season.
