Thordarson's side are one point above the relegation zone
Crewe manager Gudjon Thordarson has told his team to remain calm during their final six matches of the season.
The Alex are just one point above the relegation zone in League One.
"We need to be cool and calm, and focused on what we're doing. If we lose our heads now, we will lose it big time," Thordarson told BBC Radio Stoke.
"We will approach every game in the same way. We will try to win the games that we think are winnable, and in my opinion most of them are."
The bottom of the League One table is very congested, with 10 teams still realistically in with a chance of being relegated.
Leyton Orient, who are 15th, are just three points above the drop zone.
Thordarson added: "I am looking around the other teams, but that is not in our hands. What's in our hands is what we're going to do and that's our priority.
"It's time for us to play to our strengths, and it's time to go for it."
