Crewe striker Calvin Zola has said he will show the fans he is worth the �200,000 transfer fee they paid Tranmere Rovers for him last summer.

The 24-year-old told BBC Radio Stoke: "I came to this club because I know I can learn and I am working very hard to fulfil my potential."

The Congolese international has scored five times so far this season in 13 League One starts.

Zola scored the goal in the 1-0 win at Colchester United on Saturday.
