Crewe manager Gudjon Thordarson believes the Alex will meet Premier League side Newcastle United in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Crewe will travel to St James' Park if both sides overcome third round replays against Millwall and Hull respectively.
Thordarson told BBC Radio Stoke: "I don't want to get carried away before we finish Millwall off, but obviously we will beat them up here.
"Then we can look forward to Newcastle because I think they will beat Hull."
The Alex drew 2-2 at the New Den on Saturday in Thordarson's first game in charge of the Railwaymen.
The Icelander said the chance to meet a Premier League side in the fourth round provides his side with an extra incentive in the replay.
"It is exciting because everyone knows the reward for winning that game," said Thordarson.
"The players will be up for up it. They will look forward to the game and finishing the job we started down there.
"Then they will look forward to going on to face a good side in an environment that is exciting for everybody," he added.
