League One duo Millwall and Crewe fought out an entertaining draw in their FA Cup third round tie.
Playing their first game under new boss Gudjon Thordarson, the Alex took the lead when Dennis Lawrence headed home from John Brayford's free-kick.
Marc Laird followed up his own shot to score from close range and haul the Lions level before Scott Barron set up Andy Frampton to nod them in front.
But Danny Shelley earned Crewe a replay with a drilled 20-yard free-kick.
That match will take place at Gresty Road on Tuesday, 13 January.
