Holland told BBC Radio Stoke: "There are a number of clubs that would borrow Ryan if we agree.

"I'm certainly in no rush to see the back of Ryan but if he says he wants to go somewhere to get football, then we will discuss that."

Lowe, 24, joined the Alex in July 2006 on a free transfer from Chester City.

"Ryan has had some opportunities in the first team," said Holland. "But perhaps he has not done as well as he would have liked.

"He's obviously on the fringe of the team, but he's an excellent professional and one of our more experienced players."

Lowe has found the net five times in 26 appearances for the Alex this season, to add to the 12 goals he scored last term.
