Hutchinson made 39 appearances for Crawley during his time at the club

Midfielder Eddie Hutchinson has left Crawley Town by mutual consent.

The former Brentford and Oxford man, 28, has only made one appearance for the Blue Square Bet Premier leaders this season.

Crawley manager Steve Evans said: "Hutch has been unfortunate with a number of injuries since the summer.

"It may still be a number of weeks before he is fit to train or play so we both agreed it was perhaps in his interests to seek a new challenge."

He added: "He is a very good professional and we all wish him every success for the remainder of his career."
