Crawley Town sign Ben Wright from Peterborough United
Wright has previously played non-league football with Kettering Town
Crawley Town have signed Peterborough United striker Ben Wright for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old, who has scored five goals while on loan at Hayes & Yeading this season, has agreed a two-year deal at the Broadfield Stadium.
Town manager Steve Evans told the club's website: "Ben is a natural goal-scorer and a player I look forward to working with this season.
"I have been speaking to Peterborough all week and we finally agreed a fee."
Evans added: "Hayes & Yeading are losing a good player and we are looking to assist them with a loan player or two to help soften the blow of losing him."
Wright, who scored a hat-trick for Hayes against Forest Green Rovers on Tuesday, said: "This club is going places and I wanted to be part of it.
"I know [Crawley midfielder] Sergio Torres and after speaking to him about the move last night, I just wanted to join and I am pleased everything has now been signed."
