Former Cheltenham Town midfielder Ben Gill has joined Blue Square Premier side Crawley Town on trial.
The 21-year-old left Whaddon Road on Monday after reaching an agreement over the remainder of his contract.
Gill, who began his career at Watford, made 15 appearances for Cheltenham after joining the Robins from Cambridge United in May 2007.
He made a goalscoring debut for Crawley in the 2-1 Setanta Shield victory over Chelmsford city on Tuesday.
