Crawley assistant manager Paul Raynor is hoping a good FA Trophy run can breed confidence in the Town side.
They travel to fellow Blue Square Premier promotion hopefuls Cambridge United on Wednesday to play their rescheduled second round tie.
Raynor told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "It's one of the hardest draws we could have got, they're a good side.
"We want to do well in all competitions, it breeds confidence and it will show people we mean business".
