Bury 2-1 Aldershot

Bury moved back into the automatic promotion places in League Two thanks to first-half goals from Brian Barry-Murphy and Andy Morrell.

Barry-Murphy gave Bury the lead four minutes before the break, finishing off a one-two with Andy Bishop.

Morrell doubled the advantage on 45 minutes with a close-range shot after Aldershot failed to deal with a low cross from Bishop.

Scott Davies scored a consolation goal for the Shots on 83 minutes.
